Grand Bois Inter Tribal POW-WOW - Houma, LA

The Grand Bois Inter Tribal POW-WOW will be held in Houma, LA during September 19th through the 20th. This marvelous event is sponsored by The Terrebonne Indian Association, Inc. and held at Grand Bois Park, 470 Bourg-Larose Hwy. This is a gathering of Native Americans from all over the USA to share their Heritage and Culture and to celebrate the changing of the seasons. Features include native dancing and drumming, arts and crafts as well as Native American and Southern foods. This is an alcohol and drug free event. Please bring your lawn chairs but no ice chests.

Mid-Atlantic Mustang Car Show & Swap Meet - Chesapeake, VA

On August 2nd, Chesapeake will be home to the Mid-Atlantic Mustang Car Show & Swap Meet featured by the Mustang Club of Tidewater (MCT). Established in 1967, the MCT is one of the oldest Mustang Clubs in Virginia and the United States. The NOPI Nationals Motorsports Supershow - Clayton County, GA

The NOPI NATIONALS Motorsports Supershow is the largest outdoor compact automotive show in the United States. Now in its 19th year at Atlanta Motor Speedway, over 100,000 people attend the two-day car extravaganza each year to view the myriad of car displays, exhibitions and National championship competitions in drifting, hydraulics, stereo, swimsuit and burn-out. 11th Annual Debbie Green Memorial Run - Wheeling, WV

Debbie Green was a 7 year old girl from Benwood, WV. Debbie was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed life to the fullest. In 1970, Debbie was diagnosed with leukemia. For two long years, she battled the disease with courage and determination. On February 10, 1972, friends from all over the Ohio Valley put on a benefit show for her, calling it “Debbie Green Day”, helping her during her difficult time. That day meant so much to Debbie and her family, but in less than 2 months, on April 4, 1972, Debbie lost her courageous battle with leukemia. Now, from tragedy comes triumph, and from sadness comes hope. Debbie’s memory lives on with this wonderful event which benefits local children who also suffer from leukemia and need our love and support.
